so, Defence Minister Gordon O'Connor has apologised for fibbing to the House of Commons. he told them that the Red Cross would be sharing information with Canada about alleged abuses of detainees handed over to the Afghan authorities. he now admits his info had been, oops sorry!, "inaccurate" in:ac:cu:rate - not correct in all details. I wonder which part caused the confusion.
we're reassured though that the ICRC will however report to the Afghanistan authorities… umm....
