some banks offer "wave" accounts, as in wave the fees. the deal is that you keep a certain amount of money in the account at all times. banks make huge profits on investments they make with this money. it's a bit of a gamble for most people. if your balance happens to fall below the allotted amount, even by one cent, for one second, they're entitled to charge you for an entire months transactions. that can add up to a lot of loot for moot. I call this the "dominatrix" clause. I give you money, you abuse me.
